We purchased a white murphy bed and to our dismay after assembly, one fourth of the product when the bed is up is completely the wrong color (gray or maybe never painted?? very obvious) - because of how you have to assemble this, we did not realize until after it was way too late to do anything about it and impossible to undo and swap in a different piece, so it looks like an eyesore. Very disappointed. As other reviews have stated... 1) the instructions/video were very helpful for assembly. Recommend having 2 people do it - me and one other person assembled this in approximately 8-10hrs. 2) the quality of several of the items is subpar, where holes don't line up or are not quite right and need a little finagling to adjust -- very helpful if one of the people assembling it has some construction knowhow or extra drill parts at hand. In one instance, one of the metal bars is a little warped.. hoping this does not impact safety For the price (even with a sale, $2K), you would expect a much better product and we could probably have had a custom murphy bed built and installed. On the bright side, the parts have wood in them at least.

Bed is very nice work for me . I had order about 8 months before didn’t check the boxes I was missing one called and wayfair shipped the missing box no problem at all.

This product is horrible Misaligned base screw threads creating stripping and difficulty in assemble Al though well packed, there was significant damage to several pieces with cracks, splits, dings, and delaminating. Also no screw covers so the brown screws show on a white product

Well it was a challenge to put together it did not take us 5 hours. More like 10 days. But it will work The desk part sits on the floor when having the bed opened. Afraid it will scratch floor So we won’t be using The bed is very sturdy and well made.

I have wanted a Murphy Bed for as long as I can remember. I decided to turn our Guest Room into a place where I could office as well and purchased this Murphy DeskBed. I did hire a local handyman to put it together for me. And it was money well spent for me. This is a solid piece of furniture and I am thrilled with the way it looks and functions. I can't speak to the difficulty of putting it together but I did help carry the boxes about 150 yards. The heaviest was 85 pounds. I can't wait to use it for guests and I love the size of the desk. The handyman did have a question about a piece that seemed to be missing. I left a message for the number of the directions and they called within 90 minutes and were very helpful. I would recommend this item for anyone looking for this kind of functional piece of furniture. When I am ready to pull down the bed, I close my computer, put the extra monitor screen- down (photo 3), and take the lamp off the desk. Very easy! If I move, I am definitely taking it with me.
