The quality is as it should be for the price point. The reason for a 4-star rating is I have not really started using it but it appears it is going to serve the purpose for which I intended…more counter space, room for my granddaughters to join me in craft-making, and not overly big.. The Black granite has sparkle spots, I can't get over what nice quality it was. I'm so glad I was able to purchase this during WAY day deals. The packaging was put together very securely. It was surprisingly easy to put together, except when it came to the top. The granite top did not have the best instruction steps. There's definitely one way the top has to lay, so we first had it turned the wrong way. And we spent 20 minutes until we figured out that these two wood support slats were EXTRA pieces depending on which top you have. But, just that instruction step was the only difficult part. This cart is functional, pretty, and exactly what I needed for my kitchen space. Solid wood, easy to put together. The instructions were clear, and easy to follow. It lost one star because I only received one cabinet knob, not two, and had to run to the hardware store to purchase replacements to complete the build. The customer service center was closed for the weekend by the time I realized the error, but regardless I wanted it completed, so off I went. Replacement knobs in hand, the rest of the assembly went smoothly. Getting the top placed correctly was a teensy bit tricky, I do wish there had been some indication as to what was the front or back, but I managed to get it done.
