Beautiful bed! Very well made. It couldn't find it in the description but the lower frame is around 11 inches so with a matters it will be around 18 inches which is very comfortable hight for sitting - but too low and not too high

This is a beautiful and sturdy bed that is easy to maintain and does not get dirty (and I have a toddler who likes to climb onto the bed). It is very low. There are slight imperfections at the corners where the seams are not flush and where the sides do not fully align where it meets the plush headboard, but not noticeable enough to be a big issue. Overall, extremely happy with this bed!
