Love this Murphy bed. Wasn’t too hard to put together. Just have the right tools. Really beautiful and fits my space well. Easy to pull down. Family member stayed on it recently and said it was comfortable and no issues.

Overall: Looks great, but some quality concerns; and this is the only non-incentivized review so far.. I’m pretty happy with the overall look of this Murphy bed. It has a clean, modern appearance, and I was pleasantly surprised by how manageable the assembly was. I assembled most of it by myself in one evening, and I’d estimate it took me around 4–5 hours total. The instructions were reasonable, and I didn’t find the assembly particularly difficult. That said, there are several quality issues that I think are worth mentioning. Several pieces have paint touch-ups that don’t quite match the original finish in either color or sheen. They aren’t extremely obvious from a distance, but they are noticeable up close. There is also a fairly noticeable gap between the two middle front pieces, and you can see the fold line in the cabinet backing of the side units. One thing I wasn’t expecting is that the individual sections aren’t actually secured together. The pieces are essentially placed side by side, and there isn’t a built-in way to fasten them together. You could presumably drill your own holes and secure them, but I would have preferred for this to be designed into the product, particularly for something this large. More concerning, the first time I pulled the bed out, the metal bar that supports the bed when it is extended broke. It appears to have rusted apart. Customer support was helpful and offered to send a replacement piece, which is currently on its way, so I’m hoping the replacement doesn’t have the same defect. However, having a structural/support component fail the very first time pulling out the bed definitely makes me question the overall quality and, more importantly, the safety and durability of the product. One other thing I wish had been designed differently is the side cabinets. I would have liked an option for shelves inside them. I didn’t think this would be an issue when I ordered it, but seeing the cabinets in person, they are quite tall and there is a lot of unused vertical space that could be better utilized. Overall, I like the appearance and was impressed with how easy it was to assemble by myself, but the finish issues, unsecured sections, and especially the broken support bar keep me from feeling completely confident in the quality of the product. Hopefully the replacement part resolves the biggest issue, but I’ll be watching how it holds up over time.

This was the perfect choice for what we needed. High quality bed that is quite functional and easy to operate.

Nice quality for a good price. I like the shelves and the handles. I used an 8 inch mattress but I think you can even use a 10 inch mattress.

Love it! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for comfort. I purchased this item for my spare bedroom for when I have guess come over to stay at my home.
