Chaise en bois massif

This chair is pretty, sturdy, and comfy. I love that it's made in the U.S. Also that the wood is from maple trees, which are more sustainable than most, because they grow quickly. Great!

These chairs are very sturdy and come fully assembled, which is an added bonus!

Arrived damaged. Some damage to the legs can be attributed to shipping damage. However, there was also damage to portions of the chair back and seat which look like stray tool marks at the factory.

I ordered 6 of these chairs, they arrived already assembled. 1 chair arrived in a damaged box (despite being well packed) and had a small scuff on the edge of the seat, but I didn't feel it was worth the hassle of returning. This was one of the few kitchen chairs that available that wasn't made of rubber wood, it is made of beech wood, which in my opinion has a more attractive grain. The color was true to the photo, I ordered a stained finish. These chairs are heavy and very sturdily built, very refreshing to find in this age of cheaply built products. There is also a small plastic piece on the bottom of each leg which allows the chair to scoot across the floor more smoothly. The chair seat is a little on the small side, but should be fine for most people. My husband is a big guy and would have preferred the seat being a little larger, but it's not too bad. I am happy that these chairs support more that the typical 250 lbs. I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend them.
