I was looking for more cushion!!!! What a joke. The item is described as being 4 inches deep. Try about 1/2 inch of cushion. Just short of no padding at all. The 4 inches is just the side trim that wraps under the stool. Now, if you wish to purchase it for the quality of decal, you will likely be very happy. I have been too disappointed to even put the thing on due to its failure to have any cushion. However, the US Army decal is beautiful and very well done. I can not yet testify to its quality as I have not used it. However, the materials used do appear to be very strong and of high quality and strength. Cushion.................FORGET IT! DESIGN, STRENGTH, and QUALITY of materials......you will be very happy!
