XL 820 Catalina Stool

On the counter height (25) model of this product, the foot rail height is deliberately placed in an unusable position at 3.5 from the floor. This made sitting in the chair very uncomfortable. Even my husband at 63 had to sit on the edge of the seat and could only reach the rail with his toes.

Needed two counter stools in red and black and these were just the ticket! They are very sturdy and the cushion is comfortable and just the right color of red! Assembly was easy according to my husband. The only thing I would say is that I have a little trouble reaching the bottom foot support and I am fairly tall. But they really helped to complete our newly renovated kitchen and we are very happy with them!

I like the chairs and I think they are a nice quality, but definitely some issues with them. The screws provided to assemble the seat to the base of the chairs is really not long enough and the head on those screws was too small to really secure them. And trying to use that screw with a wrench was almost impossible. There should also be washers included to ensure their stability. So we ended up buying new screws that had a larger head and could be screwed in from the top, and 60 washers to make sure they were secure. And the picture you show is not accurate for this chair in that the foot rail is much lower to the floor than this picture shows. My feet actually don't reach to the foot rail and I'm an average height person. There were a few dings; nothing significant. We ordered 6 chairs and 4 of the chairs do have some wobble to them so we also had to buy additional pads to put on the bottom so they didn't rock. I do like the chairs, the seats are firm and well made and the chairs look nice in our room. But the vendor needs to get it together on the entire assemble products because you can see in the reviews this is a problem for many people.

Stools are great. Perfect height for my somewhat high counter. Really sturdy and I love the colors. The leather on the cushions feels pretty good quality and had held up really well over the first 6 months so far. Would highly recommend!

Great quality stools, hopefully they hold up. We needed this height for our bar, but do know the 36" is high!
