Exactly what I needed for my clients' home office. This is a very solid sturdy piece. It does need additional mounting for stability since the top and bottom are not built together but besides that it is a beautiful piece.

Beautiful bookcase pairs well with neutral decor. Sturdy and great quality, only giving 4 stars for the way product is listed. It was unclear initially based on the product image that this bookcase does not come with a bottom, and ends up being double the price listed. I found another entry later on that showed both parts sold together for the $2000+ price, which I would have ordered instead. The attached picture is how it currently is displayed in all its glory until the base (ordered separately) arrives.

This Cascade Bookcase has been a huge disappointment. Not only did it fail to meet my expectations, but it also poses a serious safety risk. There is virtually no support for this unit, and it wobbles constantly. It doesn't sit flush against the wall, making it feel very unstable and prone to tipping over. I expected a solid, well-designed piece, but instead, I received something that feels poorly made and unsafe. Definitely not worth the price – I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable bookcase.
