This looked just like what I wanted. The size was perfect so I ordered two desks to place side by side in my home office. Unfortunately, both desks arrived damaged and I had to send them back. Since there are other reviews echoing my issue, I now choose to find an alternative set of desks.

The first shipment was replaced because the the corner of the box was slightly crushed during the FedEx shipment which crushed the desk's corner. Wayfair sent out a replacement within 2 weeks. That box was received in worst form. One corner was ripped away showing all interior packing. Half of the cellophane tape holding the box was gone. I rejected receiving the box. Probably good because I am sure the box would have fallen apart being taken off the truck. Due to poor quality of the packing box and harsh handling of the shipping company I gave up on this desk.

The first desk we received was damaged, the 2nd and 3rd did not get delivered because they were not shipped freight but the 3rd time is the charm. The desk is very nice but I thought I was getting a L shaped desk and it is not L shaped. It is just the writing desk, I would not order it again from Wayfair but the desk is fine… overpriced for what it is but at least this one is not damaged.

Perigold assembly service failed to show up. I asked for the service to be rescheduled and for the cost of the assembly to be refunded to compensate me for my inconvenience. Instead, the agent cancelled the assembly, and said I could reschedule when the cancellation was completed, and that I would be refunded the cost of the assembly but would need to pay for the assembly if I rescheduled it. When I asked for Perigold to make me whole, I was refused because the assembly service is independent. Perigold refused to stand behind their agent nor find a way to compensate me for the inconvenience of waiting. For their service provider who never showed up. I’ll never shop with Perigold again.
