A stately icon of English country style inspired by manor homes, the Tynecastle bunching bookcase can be used alone or in pairs as a focal-point piece with generous storage. The warm chestnut-colored finish reveals the rich character of figured alder veneers. One adjustable wood-framed glass shelf and one adjustable wood shelf, along with 2 doors with one adjustable shelf behind. One light with a 3-intensity touch switch. Named for the Tynecastle area of Northern England, the 50-piece Tynecastle collection is inspired by the manor homes and equestrian life of the English countryside. Tynecastle combines classic Georgian architectural details with more rustic timber-frame elements and leather accents, creating a ''manor home to tack room'' Hunt country flavor.

Bookcases required no assembly, which was great. Very heavy. One bookcase came damaged. The underside weighted base was already broken off of the bottom as the box was opened. It did not seem to affect the stability of the bookcase. The other bookcase also had a minor deep scratch on the side. We were able to hide it when pushing bookcases together. Otherwise, very satisfied with the quality and look of the bookcases.
