well, i figured it would not be easy to put together and I was right. At first the directions were decent but then in spots it was just unclear pictures and very unclear text. The back of the drawers were just pushed on, no screws to hold it in place, I thought that was weird and no clear directions. Then, I finally finished it after about 90 minutes. The top drawer opened with a bit of a tug. The shorter bars to hold/separate the files is not long enough so it doesn't reach across. The bottom drawer would not open at all. I sat there for a good 15 minutes going back over the directions, trying to open this drawer. no luck. so, I waited til the next day and tried again. I had to open the back of the top drawer, reach down and move things around until it opened. I tried to fix the back parts and then shut them both.....now neither will open. I locked, then unlocked, I pulled, I tried to lift them up, move them around but no luck. Now I am stuck with a piece of large furniture that wont open and would be horrendous to take apart and ship back. I am totally bummed. All I can do now is try to take the top off and undo half of it and try again. UPDATE! I managed to pry the drawers out without damaging it much and then took a few more pieces off and redid it. I understand where the issue was and fixed that. It then fit together and opened ok. Still seems cheap and directions could be much better, but it works for what I need it for.

Perfect for lots of files and the top is a great printer station. I was happy with the variations in setup as well!

Needed a file cabinet for the home office and this fits exactly what I needed! There is more than enough space for the paperwork that will go in it! Instructions were very easy to follow and it went together very easily. Seems very durable and strong. The one lock secures both upper and lower drawers. I love that it is wider than tall to be able to store a printer on the top to be able to free up some space on our desk! Overall very pleased and definitely recommend for home or office space!

Mom had a small, one drawer file cabinet stuffed to the brim, and needed more filie space. This metal 2-drawer lateral cabinet was absolutely perfect for the space she had available. This gives her 4x more storage than she originally had. I hadn't paid much attention to the listing, and wasn't expecting a metal file cabinet to need assembly, but it wasn't very difficult. It took me and hubby about 45 minutes to get it completed and moved into her room. There is one step, assembling the back panel of the drawers, that isn't very clear in the instructions, but there is a QR code that takes you to a video, and the video cleared up our confusion instantly, so do watch the video. The drawers glide smoothly, the cabinet is sturdy and stable, but does come with a couple of brackets if you feel the need to attach it to the wall. We didn't feel that it was necessary. With the drawer configuration, you can hang letter size, legal size, and can be hung from side to side, or in two rows from front to back. Mom is thrilled with the extra space and loves that this cabinet is white to match her computer desk. Very pleased!

Came nicely packed, perfect condition. All pieces fit perfectly and instructions were clear except the drawers but paying attention to the pictures helped. It came with a screwdriver and 2 sets of gloves. Nice! Everything fit well I’m very pleased.
