Crandell Adjustable Metal Base Standing Desk

Looks good and perfect solution for my needs.

Not a bad desk, but not great. You get what you pay for considering most desks that convert from sitting to standing are much more expensive. The surface seems durable. Mine is pretty wobbly on carpet, despite what other reviews say. It’s very easy to raise the desk, but takes all my weight to get it to go down. Some WD—40 on the hydraulics helped a bit. It was missing one of the bolts upon arrival, but I found one at a hardware store. It took about 30 mins to put together. Overall, it does the job for my small closet office.

I would love to be able to leave the review about my new desk that Wayfair keeps asking for, but since I am still awaiting replacement parts due to getting a damaged product, I cannot. I can however review my experience. I have had the dismantled desk sitting in my living room for well over a week as I wait for new desk legs. I need this desk and am beyond frustrated that the initial desk legs arrived adjusted to different lengths and could not be moved or adjusted to make them even. Due to this, I could not even complete step one of the assembly process. My fear is that the desk was returned after it was put together and then did not adjust properly as the different leg lengths and scratches at the top of the legs where they would insert into the desk suggest. Unfortunately I will not know this until I get two even legs so I can put the desk together. The parts were supposed to be shipped 3 days ago. I was told it would take 3 to 5 days to get them and I would be provided a tracking # once it was available. I have not yet been provided a tracking # and have received no parts....so it looks like I will have to contact customer service yet again. My hope is the desk is great but my experience has been poor quality, poor communication, and poor service so I am not too optimistic at this point.

I purchased this since I’m now working from home longer than I expected with COVID-19. It was easy to put it together. Did it on my own. I’m 5’3” and it is a good height for me but someone taller might find it too low. It works for my needs. It amazingly is sturdy enough to support my widescreen monitor. That was an added bonus!

The legs are heavy duty, but the desktop is thin and not well made. Damage upon opening the box.
