Made of particle board which was expected based on affordable price. Assembled on my own (no husband required - lol) in a 2-3 hours. I only had to redo one small step but am happy with the size, sturdiness and overall appearance. A big improvement from plastic storage files. I recommend this product!

Truly this cabinet is a 3 star and a 5 star. Cabinet itself is very nice and functional. However assembly is a beast. It took my husband 2 days, 3 hours each day to put it together. Lots of pieces, boards and screws, a lot to put together. Because it was so complicated to put together the alignment is not perfect which I really dont care for. Plus there is some of the white paint missing from a few spots. But it is a nice cabinet and where I have it, its functional. The file hangers are great because they can be adjusted for different size files. What I dont like outweigh the things that I do like.

This farmhouse style file organizer is just right and sturdy. The asthectic of this file cabinet is quite nice.The direction manual was very helpful. I did make some user errors assembling the file cabinet. The first one I did was putting the track on the drawers too far towards the front of the cabinet draw. I also put the top on backwards. Besides my errors this a very beautiful piece. Thanks Wayfair Im pleased.

It's nice enough but the top file drawer sticks no matter what we do, and when we pull the entire thing rolls or tips. I wanted something durable for moves, but also something that didn't look industrial like a lot of other file cabinets tend to look. The "wood" was not finished well so the MDF shows through on the carved out parts making it look dirty, but I can touch it up with paint so it's more of an annoyance with quality.
