Generally OK, but taller than expected.
The dimensions depicted in the photos are somewhat misleading, showing 18.5"-26.0", to the seat of the chair. This, apparently is only to the underside of the seat, and there is another easy-to-miss additional dimension of 3.9" for the seat thickness that we overlooked when choosing this chair. Even then, the implied seat height range should be 22.4"-29.9" As you can see from the attached photos, the actual range is about 25.5" to 33". It is so high that, at the lowest position, my feet do not rest flat on the floor (I am 6' 1") and at the highest end, I cannot get into the seat without stepping on the footrest.
The design and construction is generally good, and assembly is fairly straightforward (although the instructions assume steps that are not shown or are inaccurate). No additional tools are required.
Unfortunately, it is too tall to work for us, and we will need to return it. Will update if this turns out to be a problem.

I called Wayfair to discuss how to return this item and was met with basically an impossible requirement.
ATTENTION: Once the chair has been assembled, it is not possible to disassemble it again. Several connections are press fits, including the casters into the base, the gas shock into the base, the seat attachment on to the gas shock, and the covers for the screws attaching the arms to the back. None of these can be disassembled without either specialty tools, potential damage to the parts, or both.
At this point, I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to return it at all.
I was told by the Wayfair rep that we had to disassemble the chair to return it and it had to be in a box (tho' not necessarily the original box) to be able to send it back.
I asked if we could return it assembled, (not in a box), to the local Wayfair store (~2 miles away) and was told no. The rep gave conflicting information about if it would be feasible to box the whole assembled chair (28" x 28" x 48" high, a ridiculously large box) or if it had to be disassembled (wholly or partially.)
Again, overall, it's a pretty good product (4 or 5 stars if you need its size), but if you are not sure about the height you need, check your requirements, and compare them to the dimensions I listed above before ordering it, and definitely before taking it out of the box and starting assembly.
