I would've given the chair five (5) stars as it is simply beautiful. Red leather is beautiful and finely designed. However, the flawed design mechanics required demerits. The screw holes to the base and the screw holes to the chair did not aligned and required me to use my adjustable grip pliers. When I was finally able to tighten the screws, the screw heads were stripped. When I turned the chair upright to sit down, a metal piece fell to the floor. The adjustable bar in the base which allows the chair to rise and fall as well as recline comes all the way out of the chair. I deduced the metal piece which broke loose when I turned the chair upright, that was it's function to keep the adjustment bar from coming all the way out. The customer service representative reduced the price of the chair by 20% or $477 which I considered a fair deal.

Customer service and the delivery and setup crew were amazing! The chair is absolutely beautiful. My bishop lives, loves his chair. (PS: He''s scared to sit in it).
