Solid Wood Rocking Chair

The instructions were inadequate. Once I got the pieces in the right place, the arms still did not fit as they should. The pegs intended to cover the screws do not fit. I do not know if the overall use will be compromised since the arms especially had to be forced into place.

Beatiful. Exceed my expectations

These rockers are exactly what we were looking for. They are a classic Early American design and boast extra large (and wide) backs. The paint job is excellent. They lose one star in our rating due to the sketchy instructions to put them together. The "stretchers" that you begin the assembly with are different but don't look different and none of the pieces have the alphabetized labels we have become accustomed to having as a guide. Of course with this situation we put the wrong stretcher in place first and lost a lot of time figuring out why the holes in the seat wouldn't line up with the holes in the legs. Frustrating. Because we already knew the issue from the first chair the second one was assembled very fast but be aware of the varying sizes of the stretchers to avoid losing time and patience. It would be better if more items available here were American made. These were made in Vietnam. After a bit more of an unnecessary struggle to assemble them we can now start enjoying using them and just await the delivery of some seat cushions which are needed to improve comfort. At that time they will be Just Right.

These were beautiful. We assembled them and had them on our front porch. Unfortunately we weren’t the only ones that thought so. Thieves stole the two I purchased off my porch about a week after we put them out. Now I’m just sad.
