Every screw that came broke. We had to had purchase good screws from the hardware store.

The unit looks good, but questionable quality of the hardware. While installing the metal brackets for the legs, the screws provided started shearing off as they were tightened. Each leg bracket needs 5 screws - making 20 in total. Atleast 6 screws got their heads sheared off while they were being tightened, leaving the rest of the screw in the wooden base. Cant get the screw out to put a new one in. Cant move the brackets to a new spot either. I drilled pilot holes for the rest of the screws after 2 screws sheared off and 3 more screws broke half way even with the pilot holes. Some really cheap and defective screws in the hardware package. With the brackets not fully secured with 5 screws each, two of the legs are really wobbly and the unit is unsafe. I have asked for a replacement of the wooden base and will just buy stainless steel screws from the hardware store for a couple of dollars instead of the cheap flimsy ones that came with the unit. The unit looks good overall. Just wish they hadn't cut corners on something as cheap as screws while charging a substantial amount for the piece.

I do not write reviews, but this was really absolutely terrible. As others mention, just impossible to assemble without totally wrecking the whole thing.

Cheap materials. 2 of the screws broke during assembly. I would not recommend.
