i did not read the reviews prior to ordering the item but afterwards . i agree the top of the stool is not white as it appears in the photos which was not a deal breaker for us since it is going to be used outdoors in between 2 blue chairs in a wooded area of the yard. the color on top is more a creamy vanilla not white.

Just what I needed for a small end table. The ombre pattern ends at the top in more of a cream than a stark white (you can see the difference from the stark white chair in the picture), but I think it still works!

This stool is ok but I was expecting the top section to be as white as it appeared when I bought it. Instead it’s a creamy vanilla-ish color. I prefer white but wasn’t going to go through the trouble of returning it. I also think the price was on the higher end, yet I chose it anyway because I liked the blue and turquoise. I’m not going to return it but would’ve kept looking if I knew the true color. It, otherwise, is fine.
