Glass table tops work well in small areas so you get the feeling of space. That is the number one reason I went with it. I was concerned that it would not be sturdy, if you look at it you get the feeling that if you put weight on the edge, the table could flip up. Not a chance. The top is very thick and heavy but it also is anchored by four discs with set screws so nothing is moving here. It was very well packaged and was easy to assemble.
