I appreciate this chair’s versatility. It’s seat height and swivel make it a great choice for both our dining room table and as a vanity chair. We are currently using two of them for extra seating in our bedroom. It has ample storage space which is great, but this space is also the reason for my 4 star review instead of a 5.
When the storage compartment is empty the chair’s balance can be thrown off for taller individuals.
I am 5’3” and it fits my frame perfectly, even when the storage compartment is empty the chair remains perfectly stable for me.
However, when my husband (5’10”) and son (6’3”) sit in it with the storage compartment empty, the chairs topple backwards. The fix is to simply place weighted items in the storage compartment and the chair becomes stable for them as well.
Overall it’s a great chair that is aesthetically pleasing and I appreciate its versatility, size and functionality. I would buy this again.
