John Louis Home Solid Wood Cube Organizer

I used mine as a ‘headboard’ because my platform only has tiny wings on each side.

In general, I like it, but I’m questioning the “solid wood” slogan. Can’t find more precision anywhere. And that’s why I selected it. Plus the guy hired through Wayfair to assemble it did a lot of banging to get the pieces to fit (and left a very tiny chip).

I selected this item because it was solid wood, and I expected a better quality piece than cheaper MDF bookcases. However, the quality is poor - the top of the case is warped and doesn’t join up evenly with the ends. And worst of all one visible end of the case is stamped with the brand name of the company. It’s big, extremely tacky and cannot be hidden because the shiplap effect only appears on one side of the end panels with a smooth side facing inward. We turned the panel upside down to put the brand mark near the floor (see photo), but now we’ve got an upside down mark, which is also unattractive and strange. It’s too much of a hassle to take it all apart now and return, but if I could, I would.

The size is awesome for baby items . Great quality. I just wish price was $100 less, it's pricey!

This bookcase works great in our closet (excuse the mess-still moving in). We bought 2 and attached them to each other and then to the wall. Then we attached our closet rods to the sides. Work perfect!!! Very sturdy too. Solid wood and easy to put together. Definitely recommend.
