One of my most clutch purchases ever. Life changing! Easy install and quality

Update after several years of normal use, the doors broke and now we just use it with an open bottom. The pressed wood is not going to hold up though. Other parts have broken also. slightly distressed. Assembly instructions were great.

I suppose I just got a quality mistake. As you can see in the pictures, the mis-alignment of the pieces is pretty significant and they just smashed in the hardware piece damaging the particle board. I couldnt use the wood dowels becauae of the mis-alignment, so these shelves are only held by small metal fastener pegs. Wayfair did refund some money to me rather than returning the product or getting other shelves or pieces. So at least they made up a little bit. I wont be putting anything heavy up top.

Here are the photos of the damaged parts. I feel that Wayfair owes me a discount on a future purchase. I obviously cannot return the assembled hall tree but Wayfair should offer me some compensation for this poor quality product.

This item is AWESOME. It’s exactly what I was wanting for our mudroom. A very heavy, solid piece. Definitely recommend!
