Lit plateforme Elswick

Love, love, love this bed. My first platform bed I've had and it is very sturdy. Mostly fitted neatly together with minimal screws or nails. The Midcentury style is perfect for our vibe as well.

It is a beautiful design, and the wood is gorgeous, but it is not all solid wood. The headboard is hollow with solid trim. Even worse, the hollow part is visibly not made of solid wood but of a thin veneer. This was a major disappointment for me since I purchased it because it claims to be solid wood. It also has a powerful burnt smell that persists even after having it for more than a year. That doesn't bother me, though.

Very good quality, but loosened a little after a couple of years

I’m very happy with this bed. I’m also super happy with the service at Wayfair. The two delivery men were excellent.
