I looked for months, both at local stores and online for this type of chair. Chair. Was looking for something that has a modern feel, a walnut toned wood, and is sturdy. I had a set that matched my table nicely - Mid-Century low back. They look nice, but they were not particularly sturdy. These are! Under the seat there are secured corners, plus diagonal blocks, which is exactly what you see in vintage type chairs. I like the way they don't have arms, making it easier to slide in and out of the chair. One note, they are fairly heavy, but the sled type base making them easy to move around. And lastly, they come pre-assembled and ready to go. Note there are small dense plastic knobs on the bottom of each leg, allowing you to put felt floor saver pads i- f you're going to use these on a solid surface rather than carpet. Overall, a fantastic purchase that I am sure will last many years!

Very well made and beautifully crafted. We are very happy and everyone that visits remarks on how unique and amazing they are.

We LOVE these chairs. They're solid and built without hardware. They're surprisingly comfortable perched forward as well as leaning back. They're very well-constructed and don't feel cheep. And they're really pretty to look at too. A+ all around.
