This is a beautiful piece! The wood is a little darker and cooler than pictured, more of a light driftwood color. The unit is very heavy so it will take two people to assemble. We are still awaiting the console but both bookcases are exactly what we were looking for to fill out our living room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The storage shelving unit is a fantastic new addition to our home. It arrived in very large and heavy boxes, luckily I'm fairly strong and moved them into my garage for assembly. Once assembled, we moved into our house, it's definitely a 2 or more person carry. The shelving unit is very sturdy and perfect for displaying items on the shelf and containing other items in the cabinet.
