Changing my review…. At first I thought this was a beautiful table. The table has not held up. After 3 months of pretty light use by 3 people, it looks terrible! Everything dropped on the table leaves a permanent mark - water, oil, food, everything. Everything soaks into the table top and leaves a mark that will not come off. The wood is also very soft. Scratches VERY easily. I do not believe the table was sealed. This table was close to 1000. I expected higher quality and a table that would last. I am beyond disappointed!! Original review…. Beautiful table!! High quality wood, sturdy, level, smooth top. The color is beautiful. Exceeded my expectations! Fits 6 comfortably definitely could add two more chairs if needed

This table is basically unusable as a table. Anything you put on it will discolor it. We’ve had it for 2 less than 2 months and it already is horribly discolored. We got rid of a perfectly good table that lasted for years because this one looked nicer. Regretting that decision now…
