It does not have rattan. It is a printed picture of rattan. Very tacky looking. They make you pay to return the item as well.

Cute shelf but smaller than I expected. A shelf did arrive damaged with small bits broken off so didn’t use it. The shelf itself was very easy to assemble and ended up hanging (by adding my own brackets) it to use it.

What a darling shelving unit! The pictures are just perfect and a great, clear rendering. It is perfectly themed to hold my mahjong trinket jars, cards and dice dishes. Easy to assemble and it was packed well so nothing damaged. It is diminutive so not a huge shelf.

I knew what I was ordering and I had a place for it to go the moment I saw it! The unit shipped in a tall slim box. The pieces were all well protected. I loved the thick lacquered finish. The inlay are simply printed images, but they look convincingly real! It was really easy to assemble and it goes perfectly with all of the other Asian kitsch tchotchkes in my bedroom. I had planned to place this unit on top of my dresser and it was exactly the right fit and I love the look.
