Table de salle à manger Killingly

This table would have gotten five stars from me as it is well built and made with reclaimed wood, which I love, however, the top has one board that should not have passed quality control. It is a bleached color not consistent with any other on the top, like it never got any stain at all, and has a lot of wood filler that was not colored in with the turquoise like all the others were...it's right in the center and sticks out like a sore thumb on an otherwise gorgeous table TOP, where it can't be hidden, as I did not buy a beautiful wood table to cover with a tablecloth. I tried to return the top for a new one but the company refused, saying I had to return the whole thing at a cost to me of 85.00. I am astounded that this was allowed through on an 800.00 table. Lesson learned, buy at a store or don't buy at all if they don't stand behind their work. Distressed look is not an excuse for passing an obvious flaw through the line.
