Lit standard Kunze

I bought this bed for my 12 year old daughter. Aesthetically, this bed is a gorgeous piece of artwork. I would hang the head board up as solely art. The bed was very easy to put together. I did it by myself in six hours which is good for me with a busy toddler. The headboard doesn’t lay flush against the wall so there is a gap. It’s due to the way the legs hold the headboard in place. It says there is no need for a box spring but there is. I included a picture of it without a box spring. It sits too low and you see the legs. So, I definitely added the box spring. The bed is worth the money it such a statement piece. So many of my friends want my daughter’s bed.

This headboard is very elegant

Gorgeous, high quality bed. My only complaint is that it says it’s a platform bed and a box spring is not needed which is only true if you have a really high profile mattress. Otherwise it’s only about 18” high…

The bed itself is nice and good quality. However, it said it was a platform bed. It is not. A box spring is required. Also, I thought it was carved wood from the photos. It’s not, it has a metallic paint that makes it shiny, not really what I expected. Finally, because of how the headboard mounts, the legs are against the wall but the headboard itself is an inch or two away from the wall which leaves a gap between the headboard and wall making it look like someone forgot to push the bed into place.
