I've wanted this bed for one of my guest rooms since I saw it a couple months ago! We finally moved into our new home and I purchased it! I thought I was purchasing a platform bed, but when it came, it was a regular bed that needed a box spring, so we had to purchase one. I read the reviews carefully to know about the gap in the headboard and mattress. Luckily we got a mattress & boxspring high enough to hide it and I love the bed. Our first guests will be here in a couple of weeks and I will get their opinion of how sturdy it is! Aesthetically, it looks beautiful!
