Honestly I didn't think this chair was very comfortable at all. It may get more comfortable over time, but the cushion was very firm to the point I felt like I was sitting on a hill. Also, the back doesn't come up high enough to offer much support at all. We returned it, although this was also because it didn't fit our style like we thought it might.

This set is perfect for our needs - chair seems to be decent quality and the set looks great. It is on the small side, which worked well for us, but something to consider if that matters to you. We liked it so much, we ordered another set for the same room!
