The cabinet is beautiful and very well made. I’m deducting 2 stars for the color. I purchased brown. The photo clearly shows a lighter wood tone. The actual color is espresso, very dark brown, almost black. Exactly matches other furniture we have, but wanted contrast. The cane is not solid, the items inside will be visible. We used black plastic on the inside doors to cover the cane.

The middle leg never went in correctly so it has dipped down in the middle a little bit over the last year. The top got wet and swelled up. I put a piece of granite on top to use as coffee bar.

Just a bit disappointed in the overall quality. Some of the components give a higher end feel but overall some of the wood broke and chipped while putting it together which was not what I expected.
