The box arrived beat to hell. One of the legs was chipped, another cracked.

Just what we needed

I love this table! It's the perfect size for my small dining area. It is very well made and it's heavy duty. Easy to assemble.

I think this is the first really bad review I've ever written on Wayfair. I have purchased and put together dozens of pieces of furniture and actually really enjoy doing it... This table is the worst item I have ever purchased and tried to deal with. A simple table top with four legs should have been done in 15 minutes and ready for use. So many problems! Start as I open the box and found that the Styrofoam was taped to the cardboard which is an issue for recycling... Never had to take tape off of styrofoam before to separate it from cardboard so that was mildly annoying. The table legs are attached to the back of the table top with black nylon straps. The ends of the straps are stapled to the underside of the table. I incorrectly assumed that whoever created this design for shipping would also have insured that one could pull the straps and remove the stapled ends or otherwise easily remove them. We know what happens when we assume... After cutting the straps to get the legs off I found that one corner is misaligned so that the bolts on the legs end up being too short. The bolts are the same length and on all four legs however because the piece of wood on the underside of the table is incorrectly positioned there's not enough thread at the end of the bolt to use the washer to attach the nut. The holes are large so the nut is barely barely attached, even after tightening the second bolt, and without the washer at some point that's going to be a problem. But the worst and biggest issue are the straps and the ridiculous number of Staples that were used to attach them to the underside of the table top. This is crazy! I've never seen anything like it. Used to work as a carpenter's assistant and have all manner of tiny crowbars used to remove molding in old houses etc... I have pulled out everything I have to try to lift these straps and staples out. There are 12 places where these little 1x1 veneer wood squares and nylon strap ends are stapled down. It is taking me 30 minutes to get two of them lifted and only one of them off. The Staples are breaking which is common but in this instance they leave tiny little pieces of metal sticking out underneath a tabletop where one's knees... Skin and clothing! Are going to be rubbing across. One of the little wood pieces totally disintegrated So now I have little bits of wood splinters and the nylon strap and the staples to deal with. As many as five staples were used on a single strap end!! Why?!? What on Earth were they thinking!? How did they expect the consumer to deal with this??? And of course best of all they're leaving holes all in the bottom of the table top. Again I have never seen anything like this..... It is absolutely stunning. And then to top it all off I go through the process to request a refund for the damaged item and what does wayfarer do?? They tell me I'm going to get a message from the manufacturer! From the manufacturer. Wayfair is the one that sent me the product.... Wayfair is the one I gave my money to.... Wayfair's the one that should be taking my return! Not giving me the runaround and sending me elsewhere. It would be up to Wayfair to deal with the manufacturer. not me. Wayfair supply chain issues are theirs, not mine. It is the company who should be vetting their vendors That should not be passed on to the consumer.

Super easy to put together, cleans without leaving streaks, fast shipping. I wanted a trestle table so that the legs would not interfere with the seating but it actually works perfect with my bench seat arrangement. Highly recommend!
