Update after a year the wood filler that was slapped over the knots at the factory has begun to seriously crack. I’ve put more wood filler in but unfortunately it’s not holding together. There are now large cracks developing all over, the crack in the arm has worsened to the point I think it’s going to affect the stability shortly. So I guess I spent 1200 for something that only held together for a year. Too bad, it was cute while it lasted. Original review This worked out great for our space. The wood quality is overall pretty good, there are a few knotty spots that were obviously filled in at the factory, and one of the arms has a crack in it, but it’s not a deal breaker. Ordered some custom bench cushions from Etsy and it’s definitely more comfortable, without cushions it’s like sitting in a pew.

Some of the parts didn’t align properly, but since it took so much effort to put it together- I didn’t feel like taking it apart to return it. Also- the paint job sucks. BUT it’s durable and does its job.

The craftsmanship isn’t great, pegs don’t line up, specifically the little corner unit was a nightmare and I wanted to pull my hair out. The hinges are also not great, one side stays open the other shuts even though they’re both on tight enough. Otherwise I like the color and style. I only recommend if that stuff won’t bother you. This bench is worth max 300, not 600ish.
