Bywoods Children's Desk

Really happy with this little desk. I planned on using it for my daughter’s room but it’s actually much taller than I expected which has worked out nicely. I’ve used it myself for my art projects or when I want to work in another room. It also has a nice paper-holding feature that hide away when not needed. Very sturdy so far.

Very nice desk for a child! It took about 5 minutes to assemble. One of the pre-drilled holes were not pre-drilled so I had to use a power drill. Use caution when using a power drill, the wood is soft and will easily crack.

The desk is ok. There are some scratches on the wood. The bottom dowel brace did not fit great into the routed stand pieces. I had to coax them into place. The storage drawers do not appear to be very durable being made of a thin plastic.

First if all it took me 10 minutes to assemble. Secondly, it’s solid wood. My granddaughter is going into kindergarten in the Fall and I needed a big girl desk for her when she’s at my house. I absolutely adore the old school feel of it. Now I just need a good chair.
