Commode en bois massif

This solid wood dresser chest was a replacement as the first one split in a couple areas. Wayfair quickly got me a replacement and although it took me a couple weeks to put it together only because I dreaded all the pieces. Once I started it was a breeze took me maybe an hour to put tot together and might I say this is a very nice piece just be careful putting the drawers in. It feels sturdy and will get a lot of use. The drawers have plenty space and feel secure. I also look the finish and smell of wood smells fresh.

I’m about to set this thing on fire.. it was easy enough to put together and seems like it’s made out of mostly wood- but soft wood, and it dings easily. The most irritating thing about this piece is that the drawers wouldn’t slide in, and 2 of the drawer slides are broken now.

I should've trusted the bad reviews: Nearly every piece was warped, none of the holes lined up for the dowels on top, and channel holes were way too wide so those pieces fell out. We had no choice but to screw things together by adding new drill holes in order to keep this from falling apart over and over again. We also had to saw portions to make it line up properly (the measurements were way off). Looks beautiful, but very poor quality.

Pleased that this is real wood and the feel is nice along with the smell of the wood. Overall a little disappointed with the quality though. One of the back supports screws pulled out on both sides while putting it together and had to figure out an alternate way to assemble. Also no screw install ever really felt tight. They just kept spinning. The drawers are also a rough slide. All leading to the 3 star review. There are legs for this dresser but not installed in this photo due to planning to use this in a closet. Legs are wood and match the dresser beautifully.

The description stated in 2 places that this dresser was fully assembled. Imagine my huge disappointment when it arrived in pieces. It took me 7 hours to put this together. The drawers do not close because the holes don’t line up for the screws. The directions would have been ok if the drawings were bigger and clearly marked. The wood is not finished other than being stained. The design on the front was the reason I liked it. I’m completely disgusted with this dresser.
