PLEASE READ........A MUST READ........ I gave it a five-star because the fireplace was a great buy for my parents. Purchased this fireplace for my parents since we've been having some crazy cold days. Arrived pretty fast and was left on their front porch. I paid the extra fee for installation since they are older getting the install i figured would be great but sorry to say that I have been a wayfair customer for a long time now and this has been by far the worst experience I have ever encountered. The install Tech didnt arrive at the time scheduled so I called customer service to check the status and they said the tech was running behind schedule, which was perfectly understanding. Representative said Tech should arrive around 8:30pm that was kinda hard for my parents but they were just happy to finally get the fire place up and running. Here the tech arrived before 9:00pm. He is where it gets crazy. The tech literally called me at 2:30am questioning me who was going to pay him. I was stunned and of course half asleep. My poor parents were up at that time waiting patiently for the tech to finish. I had to explain to the tech that it was already paid for. Pretty much he finished the install almost 4:00am. I was more embrassed that my parents had to go through this nonsense. Here is where it got scary. The worst part was that The tech Called me numerous of times and texting me asking who was paying him and here I came to find out he was hired by the orignal tech through Craigslist. I couldnt believe that there was a complete strainger in my parents house that was NOT an employee of wayfair. I was beyond upset, I immediately called customer service and raised hell.... What was more upsetting was that I didnt even get a callback from anyone in wayfair in regards to this nitemare. For anyone ordering any items that need installation please ask who is arrivng to your home that way you can have a little piece of mind.
