Table was badly damaged during delivery, in large part due to the way it was packed. The boxes with the table legs bounced around the inside of the table top, breaking off 3 out of 10 of the little diagonal support beams. Corner of the table is busted because the box was dropped at some point while it was in transit, not enough padding to protect the corner. There was also a hole in the box and some of the washers fell out before I got it. Really disappointed because it would have been perfect with no damage!!

I am tired of Wayfair products showing up damaged. Everything we get is damaged at least somewhat. I am about to stop ordering things from here.

Disappointing purchase but great customer service from Wayfair. I’ve ordered furniture from Wayfair before and have always been pleased. This is the exception. As you can see from the pictures the skirt on one side of the table was split. There was no damage to the package so it was, at first, a mystery. When I investigated more closely I saw that one of the screws used to attach the skirt to the top was inserted slightly off center and split the skirt. What that means is that whoever attached the skirt had to have noticed the damage and just went ahead and packaged the item for sale anyhow. You’ll also notice how the braces between the skirt and the underside of the table are poorly stapled on and many of them were loose. It’s unfortunate because it is a very attractive table but at $500 I’d expect better build quality. I called Wayfair immediately and sent photos. Of course Wayfair offered to replace the item. But it’s big and heavy (97lbs) and I didn’t want to repack it. I knew I could repair it and since it’s almost always going to be against a wall the repaired skirt would be hidden most of the time. So I asked what adjustment they’d make if I kept the table. They offered an immediate 25% refund and a discount coupon on a future purchase. They also assured me that if I was not happy with the table after the repair I could still return it.
