Beautiful Piece!!!! Great buy… does take a long time to assemble

It’s perfect, I’m over the moon happy!!

The EC is very pretty, fits beautifully into space, and will be a nice addition! However, getting there was full of challenges. In a point system I took 3 pts off for all of the knicks, scratches, inaccurate instruction, below average quality; I paid for Assembly. Angi cancelled / just didn’t show even after confirmation email, not once but twice! Frustrated! Called Angi & and they’d gladly reschedule. Why? Called Wayfair and after much time, suppose to receive a discount. Not sufficient for all the time I had 4 large heavy boxes in middle of room! I still haven’t seen any refund. So disappointed! Update-I just printed my invoice and in fact to see a price adjustment from Wayfair. And Angie canceled the charge for assembly. Only highlight is the people I spoke to at Wayfair were very nice. But restricted by policy I guess. My husband and I ended up putting it together ourselves. He has construction experience. The instruction booklet is about 40 or 50 steps. I would not have been able to do it alone without my husband‘s knowledge! Not for first timers.

If you don’t look too close at this entertainment center it looks good in my room. I do not like how there are gaps in the molding on the top of the piece and on the bottom base boards. Putting it together was long and tedious. There are a million pieces, they don’t all align correctly, there were holes that should have been drilled that were not there, and many pieces were damaged and chipped. I’m usually great at putting furniture together, and these instructions were not hard to follow but they weren’t great. This took us days to put together. We do have a newborn baby though. But it takes a long time! You’ll have a lot of leftover screws for some reason and the knobs for the doors and drawers are terrible quality. We had to switch them out for new ones. The drawers are pretty flimsy and don’t shut well either but we will see how they work over time I guess. I wouldn’t really reccomend buying this piece, definitely not for the price. I paid about $1200 for it. If it was more like $500-700 it would be a better value for what it is. It would be more work that it’s worth to return it. We will keep it and get something nicer once our baby is older. I like the built-in lighting and the size of the entertainment center. Should be a good amount of storage. We didn’t put the back boards in, we left it open to the wall so we could mount our tv to the wall instead of setting it on the shelf. Our 55” tv seems like it would be too heavy for the shelf it’s supposed to sit on. But who knows, maybe it would hold its weight.
