If you like the feeling of cold, hard concrete while you’re relaxing in front of the tv after a long day’s work, then this couch is for you. The cushions are about 2 inches thick and they’re sewn onto the hard wooden frame. Sitting on this couch is a really great alternative to self-flagellation, so if you hate yourself, buy this couch. Don’t try to return it, though, Wayfair does not want it back. They’d rather you keep the falsely advertised, wooden bench disguised as a nice comfy couch. And I swear on the lives on my children that when I unboxed this torture device a dead cockroach about an inch longer than the couch cushions was included— all but one of his back legs anyway. Speaking of legs, another great feature of this bench-couch is that the legs are hollow plastic that you get to screw on after you’re done assembling. I think they did this to further discourage you from actually sitting on it— not only will your backside go numb, you run the risk of obliterating the plastic legs if you weigh over 100 pounds or so. Honestly, don’t buy this. And definitely question the quality of everything Wayfair sells. And consider everything a final sale, because they don’t stand by their products.
