So easy to assemble, 18 year old son completed it with his backpack on it took about an hour. More decorative than functional as it doesn’t hold many books or books of a larger size like text books or coffee table type books. You might need an electric screwdriver to tighten the shelf screws so they don’t wobble. This is great for a small space.

I was not sure if this was what I wanted, but it is perfect! I had not found a shelving unit for all of my music cds. Now I have it! I am a great grandma and with the clear picture instructions for assemby, it only took me 2 hours to put this together on my own. I am so proud of me and extremely pleased with my purchase!

Its really beautiful and low profile. Works nicely for an area where you may not have much space to work with. The assembly instructions left much to be desired but it wound up being relatively self-explanatory after we laid out all the pieces. In fact, the product picture itself might be more helpful than the so-called instructions. Its not very tall but holds quite a few books. The extra cubbies at the bottom are also practical.
