This shelf is actually sturdy once completed and the assembly was very easy with all included tool aids. As seen in the pictures there is quite a bit of weight on the shelf itself. BUT- the MDF board if covered with a very flaky lacquer which I had a difficult time keeping it from cracking off more than you can see in the pictures. Even with slight movement it would flake off. But the end result is a sturdy storage cabinet with attractive LED lights and serves the purpose I needed and looks really nice.

The bookcase with tempered glass doors exceeded my expectations. I absolutely love its proportions and the smart motion sensor light that activates when you walk by. Surprisingly easy to assemble and the wood is a bit sturdy no complaints.

I needed a cabinet that was part display and part hidden storage to store my printer that I use on rare occasions. The front cabinets have soft closure hinges, a nice touch. The LED strips come embedded in the ceilings of each shelf of the glass cabinet area, then wires connect on the backside. You can adjust the color hues and brightness. There is a motion sensor which works very well. In addition, there is a c-type and USB port. The top can separate from the bottom which will come in handy with my near-future move. Very pleased. As a side note, when installing the door hinges to the cabinet itself it's easiest not to screw the screw in all the way and you can use a piece of cardboard to rest it upon so it comes out level with the other door.

Overall, I am happy with this bookcase and think it is a good option for someone looking for an attractive and affordable storage solution. The assembly process was not terrible, but it definitely took longer than I expected. It took a few hours from start to finish, so be prepared to set aside some time to put it together. The instructions were fairly straightforward, and all of the pieces were labeled, which made the process easier. However, there were quite a few parts and steps involved, so it required patience and attention to detail. Having an extra set of hands would probably make the process go more smoothly, especially when attaching some of the larger sections. Once the bookcase was fully assembled, I was impressed with how nice it looked. The design is attractive, and it has a clean, stylish appearance that works well with a variety of decorating styles. It looks great filled with books, plants, picture frames, and other decorative items. The shelves provide plenty of space and help keep the room organized. From the outside, it has the appearance of a much more expensive piece of furniture and adds a nice finished look to the space. The one thing to keep in mind is that this is not a solid, heavy-duty piece of furniture. While it looks nice, the materials are lighter and it does not have the same weight or durability as a solid wood bookcase. It feels sturdy enough for everyday use, but it is not something I would expect to last for generations or handle extremely heavy items. For the price, I think this bookcase is a good value. It combines style, functionality, and affordability. If you are looking for a beautiful piece to display items and add storage, I would recommend it. Just be aware that the quality matches the price—it is a nice-looking, practical bookcase, but it is not a premium, solid wood piece of furniture.
