We were really excited for this piece of furniture because we needed something compact for our new X-Tool that would expand when needed. Once assembled, it looks nice, but the craftsmanship and quality of the pieces and instructions while building were terrible. There were extra holes that had been filled in, inconsistencies between the instructions and the pieces, and broken wood that was either still broken or was patched. I questioned many times if I should just stop and return the piece, it I hadn’t found anything else like it, so I kept hoping the finished piece would be okay. Fortunately the damaged pieces are not visible and we just had to add some felt pads to the inside runners to make the table extension move more smoothly and evenly. For the money, it’s fine, but I’ve spent less and gotten MUCH better crafted pieces.

I received the kitchen island with extendable dining table which had a few challenges during assembly. One of the board was not milled with the cut outs to fit the other piece together. I contacted customer service and they contacted the manufacturer. The manufacturer sent the correct piece which took about a week to receive. During assembly, there were some areas where the pre-made holes for the screws were not lined up and required some drilling to correct. Once the island was assembled, it looked great and was sturdy. Behind the two doors is an adjustable shelf with ample storage and the drawer is wide and roomy. There is a towel rack at the end of the island and the extendable table pulls out easily and provides enough room for two adults to sit. I love the fluted wood design and the gold fixtures stands out nicely from the white. The island also provides a power strip allowing appliances to be plugged in as well as 2 C ports for smaller appliances or charging cell phones.

Very excited when my kitchen island came! It came in two heavy boxes. The shipping was extremely fast. I received the kitchen island in three days, so that was extreme fast delivery. The assemble took about three hours. The instructions were provided with all the necessary equipment to assemble the kitchen island. The instructions were very simple to understand. It took about three hours but the instructions also says two people are required to assemble. But I assemble the kitchen island by myself, which it took a little longer. All said and done, I am very impressed and satisfied with the quality of the island.

The casters were hard to lock but overall easy to assemble and is perfect for our home!

It is a little flimsy and takes a while to assemble. Seems like it won’t be able to hold much weight. Otherwise, looks very nice.
