When checking underneath, I also found that some of the staples used to attach the mesh fabric to the wooden frame were not fully secured, leaving parts of the fabric loose. The edge of the sofa arrived damaged. It appears the wooden pieces used to reinforce the packaging pressed into the sofa during shipping and caused visible crack. MORE FRUSTRATINGLY, this sofa went on sale right after I placed my order, it discounted more than a hundred when my purchase is on the way. And if I return and reorder, the return fee will cost me above one hundred. And Wayfair refused to price adjustment.

It's a nice looking couch. Relatively easy to assemble. (although even a brief included instruction set would be nice). So, yes, NO ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS provided. It's definitely a SITTING couch. only enough room on the set to put your backside. It's not a lounging couch by any strech of the imagination. For the room I purchase it (a bedroom I use as my TV room), it's a nice fit. I couldn't buy the ottoman because I don't have that much room. I like to stretch out when I watch TV so I have removed all the back pillows so I don't feel like I am being pushed off. Even my labrador doesn't feel as if there's enough room to climb up. summary: if you want a lounging couch, make sure you get one with more room for your toosh.
