Bibliothèque transitionnelle à cadre en bois massif H 78 "x l 33,5" avec tablette multi-usage

This is a beautiful piece of furniture. I needed a bookshelf for my sons homeschool books and supplies. It is also displaying some of his anime figures. I love that you can rotate the shelves to angle down and show off pictures or books. Right now mine is a mess of kids belongings but it is so beautiful I know it will be rearranged and used for many years. Very sturdy shelving and well made!

The Eduardo Transitional Solid Wood Bookcase took about 2 weeks to arrive after ordering, but it was so worth the wait. The Wayfair delivery team brought the package inside my front hallway since I was home when they arrived. I had originally chosen to just have it delivered to my front porch, but since I was home the 2 delivery men brought it inside. Since this bookcase was going upstairs to my family room, we had to open the box downstairs and carry the pieces upstairs. I was very happy to see that the whole bookcase was solid wood, even the backing was wood and not cardboard. Some parts of the bookcase were preassembled in the box, which made putting the bookcase together easier. It took my husband and I about an hour and forty five minutes to put this together, but that is because getting down on the ground is a bit more difficult for us. All of the parts and hardware were clearly marked, and the instructions were pretty straight forward. Somehow we missed/skipped one step of putting in the bottom shelf (part C) inside the closed cabinet part and did not realize it until after we had screwed on the backing board. So putting the bottom shelf in was slightly more difficult to screw into place, but we did get it in. Once we had everything assembled, we stood it up and moved it into place before adding the upper shelves. I like that the upper shelves could go in on a slant if we wanted to display books that way. We are using the shelves to hold DVDs currently, but it is nice to have the option to change the display shelves in the future. Overall I am very pleased with this bookcase, and would purchase again in the future should I need another bookcase.

This is a beautiful bookcase. It was pretty easy to assemble, took about a half hour. The instructions were simple and easy to read. It’s a good solid piece of furniture and I am extremely happy with this purchase

Beautiful solid wood. Looks great in the space. The only part of the assembly that was difficult was affixing the manufactured wood back to the rest of the bookcase. The shelves easily switch from display to standard style -- I'm happy with the purchase, and it feels like it's built to last.

I will recommend Wayfair but want to point out some issues with this purchase. The bookcases I received are wood and much better than some put together furniture I have received in the past. However, the stain job and quality control on these pieces is questionable. I am only going to use 2 of the 3 shelves because of spacing and it is a good thing because I could only use 3 shelves out of 6 between the 2 units that look decent. There are drips and smudges on the front of the other shelves. The back of one of the pieces has an entire hand print in the stain and both backs look as if they were dragged across the floor on the bottom. There is a cut mark across the bottom of both sides that pushes the wood out on one bookshelf. The top piece on one of the bookshelves looks as if it has little to no stain on it and the routed edge on the front is rough and missing stain. From the reviews I read, others have had similar issues. I'm painting them white to hide the issues.
