SUPER Firm couch, but Im ok with that because it just needs some sitting on it to get a little give. Its the kind that feels like it just need wearing in and then it wont be TOO soft. Its so easy to pull out the bed and to put it away. And Im surprised at just how much storage is in there. I can fit 3 full size pillows, 2 sets of sheets, a down blanket and a comforter. There is still a little room. The best feature is the pull down cushion in the middle. I didnt think I would like that...seemed a little tacky, but I think its amazing! Im actually thinking about buying another one for a 2nd room. Its that good. I didnt give it 5 stars because its advertised as dark gray, box said dark gray...but it appears as blue. No matter how I light the living room.

Beautiful sofa with chaise lounge! Perfect addition to our sunroom! Love the storage and pull out bed option for the grandkids movie nights and sleepovers! It has firm cushions with soft chenille fabric and a beautiful dark blue. The color is definitely more blue than grey.
