*Update: my review still stands for the chair (below), however, I decided to reach out to customer service and, given the issue with how difficult it is to put the footrest down, my chair was decided to be defective and I was issued a full refund. I am really grateful I reached out and so appreciative of Wayfair customer support, particularly Shari M! With all the furniture shortages I was happy to find this chair available and ready for delivery. It came when expected however it is horrible! There was a stray screw in the box and when I flipped the base over another screw fell out. I found where the first screw needed to be but no idea where the second one should be. The part I hate the most is it is ridiculously impossible to close when in reclined position! I am no weakling I got this entire thing in my house all by myself therefore you would think I would be able to have the strength to close the foot rest, nope. So don’t think that you can jump out this chair for anything, you’ll end up hurting yourself trying to get it closed. Also I am 5 foot seven and my feet hang off the end when reclined.The color is not gray it is blue, see picture. The color kind of dates the chair.

Very comfortable and easy to raise recliner with touch of lever. But lever doesn’t release recliner to uprite position. My husband can work it with his feet but I’m not strong enough! Color gray is perfect. Wish lever could release recliner.

Nice size and looks nice, but frame and arm rests are CHEAPLY made. I am 6’0” and 210lbs. I fit in the chair nicely. I like how narrow it is for fitting in our nursery. The issue is, I can feel the light wood frame flex when I sit in it. I just figured I would be careful. That was fine for the first month. Then I reached for a bottle across my body. With the other arm, I leaned down on the arm rest. There was a crack, and now there is a divot where the idea of wood was(idea of wood because, there is no way it’s real wood). Had I been able to sit in this before I never would have bought it. I feel like I wasted my money now.

This is a great recliner! It is very soft and doesn’t take up much room. I love that it rocks and swivels too. Incredibly easy to put together and started enjoying it immediately. I am 5’2” and approximately 260 and fit comfortably in it. It also reclinesretracts easily. The color is nice as well!
