We currently have a box spring with our sleep number bed so I specifically looked for frames that needed a box spring. This product states a box spring is needed. It is not. Our bed is now too far off the ground and we will need to make additional purchases to remove the box spring from the sleep number. The product is also more of a grey than a beige which was not what we were looking for. However we’ll be keeping the item as we’ve already had to return the first package since we were sent the wrong product and the frame is already put together
