A top-grain leather-covered piece is covered in a 1.5mm thick cowhide in its entirety. Not only on the seating, back, and arm surfaces but sides, back, and front as well. The leather is UV-treated and stain-resistant so there is no fear of sun exposure fading and can easily be cleaned with a leather cleaner. As this is top-grain leather ( the topmost layer of cowhide, there is no fear of cracking, peeling, or stretching. The leather used is tanned in the Veneto region of Italy. The design of this sofabed incorporates thoughtfulness from its easy open easy close mechanism, its supportive birch slat mattress base to its mattress which is a piece of solid 5” polyurethane foam. No springs, squeaks, or lumps. The mattress is covered in a removable and washable cover, fresh and ready for the next guest.
