The assembly wasn’t too difficult, but piecing the sections together (and keeping them together) was a pain. Storage is great, and the pull out is awesome. The couch seat cushions are VERY stiff, however, and I really hope they soften a bit with time. UPDATE After only a month and a half, the seat cushions are deformed and lumpy which is surprising, because I didn’t realize rocks could lose their shape so easily - still very uncomfortable seating. Don’t waste your money purchasing this item.

Good for the price. Not super soft but we're breaking it in just fine. The kids love the ability to have more laying space and I love the storage underneath.

This is the hardest couch ever. The seats are springs wrapped in foam. The back cushions are unable to hold their shape because they are made out of loose fake cotton. You can’t put any weight in the arms because they crack and creak. This is the most expensive piece of garbage.
